Pre 83 convertible?
Well I went to my dad's friends house to yank an alternator off of a buick for my brothers car, and before I left he told me to take a look at his mustang. He told me its a 79,(I dont' think he even knows the exact year). and its a convertible. Its pretty beat up but I was wondering did they make and 82 older convertibles.

I came across same thing,and was told some dealerships sent some out to custom shops to make early verts...
Ford didn't but there were a handfull of companies that did sell a conversion. Bivouac and Intermeccanica come to mind.
