I too have that one, but not with the "spoked" wheels, I have the 5 star pattern.

Mine is also loose and not still in the packaging.

I'm VERY tempted to buy that. Corse, IF I get it I'd quickly pop the rivets, strip it down to metal and paint it to look like my 85 GT.

Only bad about that is the shipping

I think I found mine at the local super market. Also saw a similar one at the same supermarket, but a Matchbox version.

That's a really old Corgi casting that Mattel reissued when they bought Corgi. I had the original one. It had a trailer hitch on the back.

My favorite four eye Stang in Matchbox scale was made by Playart. It's modeled after a pace car or early Cobra, but has a mish-mash of body cues (Capri fenders).

That's funny. Has both the Capri flared fenders and the Mustang fender lips. Its one of the most popular cars, yet most toy companies can't get the styling cues right.

I think I've got 3 or so complete sets and a couple series of the Johnny Lightning Mustangs. My father-in-law did alot of die-cast and GM musclecar emblems, etc. at shows (Carlisle, AutoFair, Columbus...) And bought the hell out of them for me when they came out.
