    Just came home.

Boxes from Amazon.com awaited our arrival.

New CD for me! Hooray! And books!

    Then I realized something...

I tossed in a CD and grabbed one of my books.

I was sitting there listening to Norwegian and looking over my 'Teach yourself Urdu' book.

Yep. A slice of my life right there.

If its me and my son AC-DC, Black Sabbath, Nazereth, Lynnard Skynnard, 70's & 80's heavy. With my oldest girl I'm stuck listening to rap, lucky for me she was recently introduced to some of the 1st stuff that came out so I can live with that, with my youngest I get to listen to stuff like Big & Rich, Toby Kieth and she likes a little of the heavy stuff too. They all like riding in the stang with the tops out and the music loud, so no sappy slow stuff. At least we all agree on that.

METAL!!! southern metal at that. pantera, c.o.c, down, damageplan, etc. beyond that, i like many different kinds of music. from country to old school rock, grunge, i can enjoy just about anything. but, here's the catch, you have to write and play your OWN music. i don't really care for rap, hip-hop, or especially pop. sorry american idol fans.

True.... I listen to & like southern rock, hard rock, & most metal in general.

I also have an ocassional fondness to listen to the music of my highschool days.... AC\DC, Boston, & new wave synth....

Flock of Seagulls, Gary Newman, Oingo Boingo....I know; wierd considering my rock background & preference......
