Default Another Step Closer to Rising from the Dead

After the original 1984 5.0 was wiped out when the camshaft bearings disintigrated, I picked up a 5.0 from an '88 and sent it off to the shop. Now that it's back from being built, all I have to do is finish the top end and put it in the car!

Thanks, I wish I had gotten a new timing pointer though.

Looks awesome dude, that block looks brand new. That harmonic balancer looks new, it didn't come with a timing pointer?

Are you going to run nitrous or a blower? I see head studs.

Seems I misplaced the new pointer when the balancer went to the shop.

I will be reinstalling the stock 1984 HO covers. They will be used to hide the Crane roller pedestal conversion kit.

Trying to keep a stock 1984 appearance right down to the grey powder coated oil pan hiding the Canton oiling system.

So I can try to hide the '88 roller block with ISKY roller cam, KB forged pistons, NOS and all that other stuff.

Girlfriend's son came by and drank all the beer.

I've got the heads on now, but I am trying to get the engine compartment cleaned up a bit before I drop it in.
