    Default cargo covers

    My 84 is missing the cargo cover. Will any year fit?
    ...That.. that doesn't work for me. I gotta have more cowbell!...

    No, the early ones changed the hooks in the back I believe. I think 84-86 should fit at least. Maybe 83-86.

    Whatever the rear hooks onto is also missing.

    Its been so long since I owned a Fox, I just dont remember what everything looiks like.
    ...That.. that doesn't work for me. I gotta have more cowbell!...

    They hook into the rear plastic panels in the back of the hatch....do you have these panels?

    The hook-ins at the hatch are different, and where it actually mounts to the interior plastics have different latch-in arrangements. 84-86 are the ones I have found interchangable so far.......

    My 84 slides in from the top.

    My 93 slides in from the back.

    The privacy shade/cargo cover breaks down as follows:

    '80-early '84 (same length as late '84-'86)
    late '84-'86 (same length as '80-early '84)
    '87-'89 (shorter than '80-'86 due to redesigned trim)
    '90-'93 (shorter than '87-'89 due to redesigned trim to accomodate rear shoulder betls)

    '80-early '84 attaches to the underside of the liftgate
    late '84-'93 attaches to the rear plastic that surrounds the liftgate striker

    o.k., so it is 84, but the earlier ones would fit if the attachment point in the hatch was fixed
