    I was looking at this...
    http://foureyedpride.com/fep_bild/v/...bum05/album60/

Maybe, i missed this before, but, where in Mexico were these
    cars assembled ??
Also,in the article (that's in Spanish) The SVO pictured has the
traditional SVO front nose hood and sail panels. But, the two cars pictured
(the red and black) have the mustang front nose ???

I believe that's the quest that we as a site are trying to find out...more info. They really seem to be a mystery.

And then for those who haven't seen it but are now reading this thread: http://foureyedpride.com/fep_bild/v/img_arch/album05/album60/

There were Mexican Mustangs that were:

    Coupes with Capri noses
    Capri bodies with Mustang noses
    Capri bodies with Capri noses

Still don't have a clue about what their rules or reasoning were for that.

    Hi Fred,
The cars where all built in the Ford plant in Cuatitlan Izcalli. The SVO noses could be ordered from the factory as well as the Foureyed noses. When my father bought the car it was ordered with the GT350 nose he said it looked meaner . There are a lot of things that went on at Ford during that year so there where many different things installed on these SVO's since these where the end of Mustang production in Mexico.

It came with a 5.0L HO (This is all it shared with the 5.0 available in the US) engine with a solid lifter cam, bigger valves, longtube headers, high performance ignition a high rise aluminum intake manifold and Holley 600 CFM Double pumper carburetor.

I spent a month in Mendoza Argentina in 2003, they still produce using factory tooling, a 68 4dr Nova, 62 or 63 Ford Falcon 4dr, and a 69/70 4dr dodge GTX Satilite, they were sold as 03's, they all had 6cyl motors, the cops were driving the falcons and nova's which were badged "SS", the only modernization was the dash and the tail lights, there was an interesting Ford called a Torino GT, I'll have to scan some pics and post them, what I was told is when the big3 pulled out of argentina in the 60's they left all the tooling and they argentines kept cranking them out and still are
