I got a pair from the junk yard for $15 dollars. when I got home I noticed the centers are the same thickness, not thicker whare the studs go through and thinner in between the thick spots like on my pace car. What are the other wheels off of?

Hmmm...
We ran across different part/engineering #s for 10-Holes for different years
They look a little different
Do the TRXs have #s visible?

I'm pretty sure that there are two different size's. Also the Thunderbird TRX's may be a little differrent. I ran into a similar problem a few year's back and I'm pretty sure the two different wheel's that I had where from a thunderbird.

Also, do not be so quick to judge someone's comments as being derogatory. It is often difficult to interpret someone's intentions having only text and no body language or tone of voice to guide you.

When I was restoring the set I got I found different part numbers. One rim had a squared off outer edge vss a rounded off outer edge. Visibly, that is the only difference I could find. There were never different size TRXs to my knowledge, just variences in machining.

All TRX wheels are the same size. The Tbird wheel looks different though.
The "other" TRX wheels used by FLM:
Yep there were two different wheels made although they both look the same on the outside when the center caps are on. The earlier ones like on my pace car were flat in the inside when you took the center cap off around the holes for the lug nuts. The later ones were reinforced around this area and the holes were recessed so you had to use a longer lug nut. Hard to explain. I wish I had pics.
