Default Found me a GP IV Capri in the paper today!

So I bought it... $1200... Runs great , needs new brakes to make it a driver...plans are to get it driving, since it has been sitting for 8 years in dry storage. Then after my Mclaren Coupe gets painted, I will restore it.

That's cool. Those cars seriously need to be saved at any cost. There are so very few.

Is it one registered with the motorsport registry?

I cannot believe some people don't realize what they have. Great catch there. Anyone know how many of those were built?

You know... that kinda reminds me of what I found in the salvage yard....

It was a 1960 Edsel Convertable... 1 of 60 (or so) made and one of 2 with that color combo. The car needed complete restoration but was all there. Luckily, it was saved and hopefully will be restored. Now, there are those that counterfit 1960 Edsel convertables... so you need to be carefull... but this car was the real thing.

Somebody tossed a car... that when restored to beautifull condition would be worth $50K or more.

    Idiots.

If I had the money, time and space I'd have soooo many cars... I'd be the Jay Leno of FOXes and Edsels.

    Glad you saved this FOX.
