I sent my VIN to him yesterday. Does he usually get back quickly? I saw people on this thread that said it took 24 hours while other said 6 months. What is the norm?

Just curious, does your car have a one piece or three piece rear spoiler, and does it have quad shocks or slapper bars?

The reason I ask, my 84 GT was built on 12-23-83, and it has quad shocks and the one piece spoiler, but it did not come with the fog lights, and it's 100% verifiable as original. I guess mine's really an 84 1/4 instead of an 84 or 84 1/2.

It took me forever too. Try a different email account, my yahoo address did nothing, but I got an answer on my work email address.

My black/black/black 90 GT convertible was one of 316, and my black/gray vinyl 84 GT was one of 1784, and it was built on 12/23/83. The theory that 84 cars got quad shocks, a one piece spoiler, and a foglight front bumper in 12/83 were partly true, my car got the quad shocks and the one piece spoiler.

Can you guys post ALL the information about the cars that pertains to the report?

I don't really mean to single wsharp227 out (as many people previously have done the same thing) but this is a great example where we can't see WHY the car is such a rare model because of missing information. Please post:

    YEAR
    BODY STYLE
    EXTERIOR COLOR CODE
    INTERIOR CODE
    ENGINE

Anything less, and your numbers are meaningless.

    Default 85 coupe

The car is a 1985 Ford Mustang 5.0 5 speed. It has a black exterior (1C) and grey vinyl interior (CA). It is an A/C delete car with thte only option I see is the power windows. The car has 9800 original miles and has been out of the weather since 86'.The only thing not original on the car is the exhaust. Sorry for the lack of info. It is all that Stew sent.[/b]
