    Default Show me your tips!!

Need exhaust tips for my Capri and when I searched nothin came up.
So who's got the nicest tips?
Do they make a difference in terms of sound?
    What do intercooled tips do?

My tips are in the shed. I think big tips looks dumb. Just any chrome 2.5 inch slant tip will look good

Last time I saw "intercooled" tips was the Borla tips back in the 90s

just stick to 2.25 or 2.5" stock-style tips. They look the best

I have 3" tips. They made my exhaust alittle louder. Not much though.

My GT was converted to stock 86+ true duals with a 2 1/2" Dynomax cat back system that has stainless steel tips that polish out very nicely. I need to take an up to date picture with the tips polished. But heres the pict:

well it's a long story but i accidently got sent the wrong exhaust after months and months of waiting so i put them on anyway and thought one day i would get some new tips, but i actually kinda like them. different anway. i like the way the sound reflects off the ground. of course they look better when they are clean.

I know this is about exhaust tips, but looking at everyones cars really shows me that I need to raise my front end up a bit and my car will look even better. I am hoping the poly isolators will give me that half an inch I need.(I have no isolators right now) Sorry for hijacking the thread was just thinking out loud.

I'm a little embarrased about mine so I won't show them either. Plain steel fabbed by a muffler shop. Big weld seam running down the length. I didn't even bother to clean some paint overspray off of them.

I need to replace them with stock stainless tips. I'll run a WTB ad when I free up some money.

Those wheels are made by Borbet, 17x9, they are long since gone. I'm running 98 Cobra's now. Pic is from last year.

Wish I had a pic of the ones we just put on my brother's 82. They are massive and exit at an angle. Maybe I can get a pic tomorrow.
