    Default I6 to V8 swap

Want to put an 85 302HO into an 82 hatchback with a inline six. Noticed though that the frame perches for the motor mounts on the 6 cyl car are about 4 in narrower the the V8 car. Does this mean i will have to change the K member , or are the 82 V8 mounts alot different than mounts for an 82 V8. Also, will the auto trans from the 6 bolt up to the 8???
    Any help greatly appreciated, Thanks

Need to change the K-member and the transmission, these are specific only to the inline 6. K-member could be cut down to make the V8 fit but it's easier to just swap it out. Transmission has a different bolt pattern on it and won't fit a V8.
