Just to let the interested know, I am still alive and will be making them but I have had some family problems that have delayed it for the time being. I still have my list of people waiting and they will get filled.

So, do I get a set of clips to go with the Wing I got last summer?
You and one other person will get the clips I owe you as soon as I have them in hand.

I have NOT had anyone contact me regarding that. And I would expect to hear immediately if such a thing had happened.

I have had a few people inquire as to what became of Rob but that is all. I shot him an email and hope to at least get a note back.

Rob seems like a really cool guy. He said more than once that the wings were harder to make than he thought they would be. I know his margin was not as large as he hoped they could be.

I would imagine "life" got in the way somehow of this project. I still hope he keeps the molds around and plans to get back to things.

well lets hope that Rob, or someone else starts making them again.
i was just talking with plum crazy about the need for a repo capri spoiler for us capri owners. that is the one part i figured would have been repoed by now since not only asc owners, but all bubbleback owners are craving for.
    lets hope for the best!

I filled out the order form a long time ago, but I guess I missed the first go 'round. If money was the issue, I'd pay a little more. I remember them being very reasonable. It looks like there are quite a few interested parties here. Maybe there is enough interest for another run. You can still count me in for 2.

I wonder how many of these spoilers were actually made? I just remember
one being made. The one Mike did the review on. Later,I believe musclecarsonly purchased it.. Who also has not posted in some time.

I have to admit that Robs repro wing came out awesome.

I'm still of need of at least 1 maybe 2.

Mike N do you still have the one you tested or did it sell?

I returned it back to Rob.

I would assume 2-3 were probably made at least. He did a great job on the first one. He was going to reduce the fiberglass material in them a bit so that they weren't quite so heavy and by the looks of things he could have done that easily and not sacrificed quality.

The problem with the asc wing is that if you made even as many as 200, you probably would satisfy the market for the most part and that would be too low a production run for any major manufacturer.

I think that would be true for ALL the ASC parts.

    Hello all,

I am not dead or haven't fallen off the planet. I have not stopped by recently as I have had no new news. I am stopping by because Mike emailed me and let me know he has been getting asked about the wings.

I have gone through alot of family issues for the past year. I will be making them again this year. I do not know what part of the year but there will be wing made this year.

Just an FYI. There have been 5 wings made. The first one which I have kept for myself and four that were sold. The only problem I had were the last two wings did not ship with clips. I know I still owe them to you guys and you will recieve them.

I spent months getting clips made (which you do need for the wing for it to set right) and finally got what I believe to be the finished product. The problem is my test hatch and #1 spoiler are things I do not have access to at the present time. I should get them relatively soon and be back in business shortly.

I will try and keep the interested better posted.

    Thanks
    Rob

Thanks for the update Rob. I still want one and once I get it and go through the install I will be up for a second for the other Capri.

These cars really need a spoiler, the little lip from the factory is the pits!!
