Default Details & price for the Mclaren spoiler wing (update 4-5

    Hello all,
I am now taking orders for the wing. The cost will be $310.00 plus shipping for a complete kit.

    Included in the kit

1.) The wing with stainless hardware
2.) The clips that connect the wing to the moulding
3.) Complete instructions with drilling template

There will be two different wings. One for the 83'-85' cars and one for 86's with a notch for the third brake light.

Disclaimer: There is some prep work you or a body shop must do to the wing and the hatch before you mount it. Also if you are the least bit unsure if you can drill the holes/mount it correctly, please pay someone else to do the job. Not calling any one an idot but if I didn't mention it. I am sure I could have a problem.

Send your order to madmax1@fuse.net. Please include your complete shipping address , quantity you would like and the best way to contact you. You will be placed on the list which is firs come first serve (I will let you know appx how long your wait will be) then I will email you when your wing is ready. Payment will be expected at that time.

Now remember. They will be slow to start with one wing a week being produced in the beginning.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Just letting everyone know Any orders placed from now until late winter will not be getting a wing until early spring. Everyone who has placed an order will have their order filled in the time frame we have talked about.

If you have any questions email me. You can still place an order but know that there will be a delay in you getting it.

    Thanks

Just curious, so how many customers have you snagged?

Bottom line...is it worth your time to produce these things?

didn't you see the part about it being 310 bones?
I'm sure the prototypes where expensive to get right...
I bet your 310 goes mostly to shipping and labor.

I have sold/taken orders for a dozen. It has been enjoyable doing it and I am learning fiberglass so yes, it is worth my time.

Hey, I got a Mc soiler that came with my car, The guy said it was original, but I dont see any mounting tabs on it or anything like that. Do you know how to mount it, or do you have the proper thingys to mount it?

    Default ASC McLaren front spoiler

I see that you are making a nice rear wing. Would it be possible to make the front spoiler too? I am looking for the early style without the fog light holes. circa 1983.
    Thanks!

Don't look like much do they? This has been my delay. Had a supply problem with them so I spent the fall and winter getting them made. There is just a touch of tweeking to them and then I will be filling orders again.
