Default LTD LX owners (as well as CFI owners)

    Well all...

After looking in my Ford issued shop manuals for the correct fuel pressure... I found that Ford says tha the correct fuel pressure for the CFI system is 39 psi. Same 39psi for the LTD LX and the V6.

Question is... what do you all have yours set to?

You know... after messing with the LTD all day today I found the Fuel pressure isn't changing!

BTW: Never buy a pep boys fuel pressure gauge... they don't work worth beans... it jumps around and isn't very consistant. Returned the blasted thing and got my money back.

So, I bought a good Fuel pressure gauge from a local speed shop and it said a constant 34 psi... even though I kept adjusting that damned fuel pressure regulator (FPR). This makes me think that the FPR is not working. I have annother CFI unit with a FPR on it... I'll clean up the FPR tomarrow and toss it on.

it took alot of turns to bump mine down to 39 from 42. the pressure should be a constant number and not fluctuate.
