1983 LTD climate controls fit 1985 LTD LX?

Anyone know if the climate control from a 1983 LTD would easily swap over to a 1985 LTD LX? Is it plug and play?

Also, would the radio be expected to interchange?

I'm pretty sure the HVAC units are interchangeable. The knobs and controls are all the same and in the same location. Only the face is different.

The stereo is different. 83 used the dual post radio. 85 is sort of a dual post but the shape is single DIN like newer cars. So the bezel on an 83 car is only for a dual post radio, but on an 85 is rectangular so any radio will fit. Connections on the back are the same IIRC.
