    Default predator mustang?

    i have recently bought a race car and after removing the hood i found the soloman america id tag that said predator gt302.does any one know any thing about these cars?unfortunatly this car has been backhalved and caged but would like to find out as much as i can about them.it is an 84 model hatchback.i know that it is 1 of 125 built in 84 and that it is #33 on the top 100 rarest list but that is about it.any info would be apreciated.

    Oh no...

    Why is it that those of us who would kill for these cars don't get the chance at them, but other people who will hack 'em apart find 'em for cheap and do this sort of thing?

    Don't feel all that bad about about it..... 9 times out of 10? It was done many years ago by a previous owner whom did it simply to make the drag car look more like the "newer" aero's that were out at the time. My buddy has an early Capri drag car, (GS badges in the hacked up origional black interior panels), that is fully "aero-converted"! The last two owner's had nothing to do with the body; they bought a race car that looked good needing a drivetrain only to go fast.....
