    Default Dyno Results Are In!

Finally had a chance to dyno the '86 after my 306 install.

Final results: 315 rwhp, 330 rwtq. At my calculations that's about 370 hp at the flywheel and 390 torque

Previous best was 289 rwhp, 311 rwtq with the stock 302 short block. All I've done is raise compression to 11:1 with Probe TW pistons and .030 overbore, and an FTI custom cam. Rest of combo is in my profile if anyone is interested

This is with a C&L 76mm meter and I'll be switching to a Pro-M along with getting a custom chip burned in my quest for 330 rwhp

This thing is a beast! From a roll anywhere in 2nd gear it annihilates the Nittos, and a little clutch slip in 3rd will roast the tires to redline. 4th gear gives some nice short wheelspin too. Feels like I picked up alot more than 25 hp.

Luke, that's a nice ET and MPH. I still need to rebuild my traction loc and get a more serious set of tires, then I'll be gunning for the 11s. If you pulled an 11.5 with that HP that's inspiring!
