    sorry, I thought cobraman was the original poster. When he wrote 'think I can hit 10's', then 'stock block', that's where it came from.

    it is still good info for the overly ambitious stock blown owner.

    Its pretty easy to get low 13's high 12's.

    I use a stock 90 short block, stock p heads with springs, tfs stage 1 cam stock pushrods and rockers, weiand stealth intake 650 demon carb and 1-3/4" long tubes with an offroad x, 5spd and 4.10 gears. My best run has been 12.66@103. My best 60' was 1.697 on slicks...

    it needs to be drivable on the highway so i think 3.73s will be the highest i can go?

    I drive mine on the highway, 2 hours one way to the drag strip. With the 4.10's and 5spd I turn 26-2700 rpm @ 70-75mph.
