Yep its 1985 car with the 5.0...and its VERY VERY LATE!

Interesting....can you get your door tag info and post it on here?

If you no longer have the door tag, can you post the body tag (on the radiator support) codes on here? We can decode them for you.

I have installed the rear springs from a Highway patrol mustang in it I was going to put the front springs but never did. Thsi Car was a daily driver for me so its been kept up and maintained

I don't have all the codes for everything but went some from memory. The "FYC" interior is very odd. We have seen a similar code on another member's car that is nearly the same as yours....but his was VERY VERY early. His was FYA or something and the theory was that it was because they had leftover 1984 material that they used on some of the early 1985 cars...so Ford tacked on another letter...HOWEVER...maybe they had "FYA" for early material..."FYB" (or "FY"?) for mid year and maybe "FYC" for later Sand beige...which is what you have.

Very cool and fairly rare car...they don't pop up much in a recognizable form like this. Almost all 5.0 cars in 85/86 came as RS styled cars...with the sport seats, etc. To have a "by the book" GS without sport seats and air dam...the V8 Automatic GS (without air dam or sports seats) is pretty rare.

Here is a link to that other car...

How about any other year's ??...I've never seen a other GS/5.0
    in any other year.
