Im currently undergoing a 2.3 to 5.0 swap. Im a little vague on the facts for front suspension. Will i need to change springs, k-member, struts, or anything else i missed? thanks

You might want to upgrade brakes but besides that everything else will work.
K-member can stay, remove the 4 cylinder mounts.
But yeah, might be a good idea to upgrade the brakes.
No matter where you go, there you are
The "K" member can stay, but I would add new engine mounts, springs, struts, and brakes. The four cylinder springs/struts/brakes, were meant to handle the 4 banger engine and not the weight of the V-8. But, if you have to watch your budget, then that stuff can be done over a period of time. Good luck!

I would do the springs and struts now the brakes will be fine for a while,as far as not handling a v-8 the brakes are the same on all mustangs until 87,I have a friend that runs stock 85 brakes with a rear disc and goes 8.70in the 1/4 mile at 151 mph!

I put replacement struts in the back and front of my 82 capri 5.0. Will these work on the 89?
Your struts from your Capri will work on the Mustang. All 79-86 Mustang struts interchange, and that is the same strut that the 87-93 four cylinder cars used.
