you could always go to the yards. What i recomend is that you get the brake cables from any stang from'85 on because the cover fro the brake lines are rubber instead of metal

I ran mine lines under , both times .
I have repaired a few of these. I have taken out the interior and repaired the line. You can either flare and install a union or *looks around with innocent blue eyes and is not confessing to anything* you could use a compression union to repair it inside the car. The nice thing is that inside the car the line is generally cherry~~even in NW Pa.
You can also as previously stated run it under the car. If it is a show car and original, do it the right way and fix it inside.
