between a fairmont and a mustang of the same year. correct me if i am wrong, but wouldnt a panhard bar and brackets that fit say a 1980 mustang, also fit a 1980 fairmont? i know most everything else interchanges, except subframe connnectors.

Some subframe connectors fit, for example the WMS racing SFCs.
