Anyone running a Crane Hi6?? Does it work with stock tach. Right now I'm running an Autometer with it, but I wouldn't mind going back to the stock look. I couldn't get the tach to work with it. Do I need an adapter??

My factory tach works just fine with my HI-6 w/o an adapter. I have a wiring harness and dash from a '93 (for EFI conversion) though, so I don't know if the earlier cars hook up the same.

If you have a tach from a '93 model year, then chances are that it has different filters in it from those from '79. Actually my tach is from an '86 GT but I think it's the same as my orginal '79 tach.
