8 Track Player for mustang?

Any 8 track players fit in the mustangs radio spot?

I'm serious. REALLY!

Here's the plan, gut a 8 track player for the front face and put a hard-drive based mp3 player behind it. Why? to psyche out thieves, they'll take one look at my radio and run lol.

actually, I have an original black bezel Pioneer 8-track player in mint condition that was used maybe 2 times in its life. And its been accessed(sp?) at 3000$ a year ago. Still interested?

Thats insane. I've got one in my 79 pace car so they came stock in the early cars. Finding one that hasn't been taken out and thrown away is the problem. Start checking ebay.

It didn't come with my car it was an aftermarket, acording to the guy that looked it over and priced its value, there were only like 100 made of this model, its an underdash am/fm. I'd show you picks but I have somehow lost it in all the **** in my storage. 3000 at the time seamed like alot but from what I've learned is there are alot of hardcore rich colectors of crap like this. Only reason i've kept it. To someday make lots of money from a 8 player :P
