Default 1984 20th Anniversary Edition Mustang GT Convertible 5-speed - No Reserve on BaT

Nice looking '84 GT convertible on BaT with no reserve. Looks like a fun driver! There was some confusion as it was listed as an EFI 5-speed, but they didn't make an EFI 5-speed GT in '84. EFI was only available with auto. Anyway, turns out that the air cleaner lid is just a replacement from a 5.0 EFI. They took the lid off and lo and behold, there's a carb in there! Take a look! Might be a nice one to add to someone's collection at a decent price.

Agree. Good post. Wonder how many owners it has had?.
Good info credit to seller worth following to see what happens.
Needs a lot of work to save it for 20 more years.
Nice new exhaust system. Rims, top, w/s look good.
Carfax, Marti Deluxe a plus. Window sticker would be too.
Cloth seats are much cooler than vinyl to sit on when hot out and top down.
That is a hard 85k. More like 185k or 285.
Decent car outside looks ok now to go through all the inner sides F to B.
    Steam cleaning to start.
Preserve the engine code sticker on ds rocker cover.
Learn what the new wiring in engine bay is all about. Stereo amp?
Strut nuts look odd. Not tight all the way?
Looks like a nice new radiator and hoses. Replacement rad cap. Diehard Silver battery.
Wonder what the story is on the a/c lid?
What a dirty fuel door area. Looks like a diesel. Needs new fuel cap, latch spring, and unleaded sticker.
Dirty spare. No one took time to clean it up or did they?
Needs major front seat repairs. Prob broken welds in seat back for one.
Needs new stock shifter or aftermarket.
Would like to pull up the carpet at the sills and take a peek under it.
Car will prob need a clutch soon. Then trans and engine.
If a fair price, worth putting couple grand into it, more if driven. Looks solid.
