    Default Beltline molding/Weather strip?

I know a while ago they started reproducing the beltline molding with the weatherstrip. Often the metal strip would arrive damaged. It was somewhat easy to pop off the old metal and put it on the new rubber. This also woks gray verses black trim. the pair sells for $100. I see another product for $50 which seems to be just the 2 rubber pieces. Is this correct?

That's what it looks like... those particular rubber weatherstrips didn't used to be available separately.

Makes sense to sell them without the molding itself... that was my exact predicament. My moldings are painted to match the rest of the car, but the rubber dew wipes are cracked and no longer pliable. I actually bought the moldings, with the included rubber wipes, specifically with the intention of removing the wipes and putting them on my moldings (when that time comes).

I did that for my 85 McLaren as they were body color. Thanks for the input. I need some for my 86 now.

Hard to tell from a single pic.... but on first glance, these look in pretty good shape.... looks can be deceiving though.

When I replaced mine back in 2012, the reason I swapped the molding was simply because the repos were steel and the originals were aluminum...
