I'll have to live vicariously through you guys for that one, so please share lots of pics!
Had ~
'81 Mustang Ghia Hatchback, red, 4-cylinder, 5-speed, slow, but looked great!
Have ~
'83 Mustang GT Hatchback, white with black, stock 5.0, 5-speed, T-tops, dual exhaust
Yessir.
It rained pretty good the day of the show so the swap meet and turnout suffered a little bit. I think I heard somewhere, maybe on a podcast, that ~half the registered folks didn't show due to weather. There was a pretty large area dedicated to the swap meet on the map FWIW.
"YEP, SITE'S BROKE"
Looks like we're going to try and make it up for the Sat show date.
The LTS definitely isn't show worthy, but it'll probably be the only one there.
Now to decide if I want to irritate the folks with the fancy cars and park in the shaded area.
I'm mainly interested in some of the Fox-specific swap meet stuff, as I have a couple things I wouldn't mind being able to bring home if I find deals.

Hot and 90F out here today. Mostly 60's at night. Summer arrived a month early this year.
Spotty passing showers can happen late in the day.
The LTS will be show worthy to all. Am positive it will be very welcome by all.
In Detroit car shows any older car is respected, no matter what condition.
Don't forget to get the 3.00 2024 dash plaque.
The large sheltered parking in the heart of Ford Country works for either sun or rain.
Noticed the Ford Garage get together is on a Thursday this year.
Cruise to Hell (Mich) is Friday. A long rural road drive route. Tiny area. Been there and back.
Do a cruise on famous Woodward Ave M-1 sometime. The older suburban stretch north of 8 mile to 15 mile.
Not far from Dearborn. Lots to see. Even just to sit and party. Friday evening and all of Saturdays are best.
The real nice VFW car show in St Clair Shores is on Fridays right off Lake St Clair. No junk all makes, food.
Major reconstruction of wb section of I-96-I-696 is ongoing. Check MDOT site for info. US 23, I-69, etc.
EB is brand new as is I-275 north of I-75 to I-696.
We'll come up Friday and stay over-night. Just only planning for the Sat show, etc. Might visit a couple friends who live in Detroit, if they're free.
I'll probably opt for a covered spot, as the price difference isn't all that much.

If nothing to do, fun free concert scheduled for Friday evening 7p July 12th Walled Lake area.
About 30 miles north of show. They usually play for 2 hours straight set.
Same notes and tune tone as original songs really don't miss any or change them like most bands do.
Style is mix of full songs, medleys being a note of last song matching a note to start the new one.
Good stage presence and Conga dance thru the older crowd playing. Lots of tie die.

Of course can always cruise or park and sit Woodward Ave. Many classics out on weekends.
Best is 13-15 mile road area. All day and evening. Dusk brings out the young nuts.
Reminder NPD has the Canton warehouse nearby if needing parts and save on shipping.
The show is so special not like a general car show or Ford only.
The small swap area is usually potpourri at those events.
Ford road construction at entrance drive to show should be all done.

As of now I'm planning on being there. Not bringing my car unfortunately, hopefully next year. Will be riding up with my friend in his Capri.
