What are people using for AOD TV cables?

So, I never figured that an AOD TV cable for a 5.0/AOD Fox car would be unobtanium from Ford. What aftermarket cables are people using on the 86-93 5.0 AOD cars? I'm going to need something for the LTS.

Those are shift cables. I need the TV cable. The CFI uses a rod, and I'm going to be converting to port-injection.

Chuck, have a look at a company called Lokar. they make a TV Cable for an AOD.

There is an '87 Cougar 5.0/AOD at the junkyard near me. I can try to grab the TV cable for you if you'd like. I have to believe it is the same between the HO and lo-po 5.0 engines.

The car had a floor shift.

Kevin grabbed the shifter and the TV cable for me. Each is going to a separate project.

The '83 Cougar I grabbed some parts from a year or so ago with a column shift had a rod linkage from the column down to the transmission. Obviously the floor shift in the '87 I got the parts for Chuck from has a cable. I did leave the shift cable in the car since he didn't need it. If you need it let me know as I think the car is still at the junkyard.
