Default Does anyone make a straight factory repro 86 hood?

I have my 86 vert. Am thinking about getting an 86 factory hood, and adding an early 80's GT hood scoop to it. But darned if I can find a good. Any help? I currently have a 3 inch cowl hood on it, that was on it when I bought it. I hate to speak blasphemy, but I have never liked cowl induction hoods....Have also considered a cervini stormin Norman hood, but don't want to add hood pins and am on a budget.

Any help on a good repro factory style hood that will latch and also use the factory hood hinges?

    As always, that's to everyone.

To quote negusm from post #2 in the below thread, "Junkyard, ebay, or this site."

And that was 15 years ago! I imagine they aren't any easier to find now....

Damn. Then does anyone make a cervini style stormin Norman hood that uses the hood hinges and pins the front? Have not found anything.....

This one says it uses stock hinges and latches. You could always pin the front instead of using the latch, if that's what you want.

Here's a used one (if it hasn't already been sold). Contact him, tell him what you want and he'll put it up on ebay for ya....

I assume you had looked at Cervini's, but by your statement maybe not.

Bolt on, finished underside, uses stock latch. Can add hood pins if you choose. I have purchased 4 Mustang hoods from Cervini's, and two Truck hoods from them. Never had any issues and quality is top notch. Good luck!
