      Default Newbie. Coyote swap

      Hi everyone. I’m new here and trying to find some info on a coyote swap in my 83 vert. I know there is some here but I can’t seem to search so I’m hoping that some of you can post some links.
      im quite interested in taking a complete donor with a MT82 6spd and swapping it over and all the resources I can find is vague and says I need to buy control packs and ect.

      does anyone know on if a complete gen 1 with manual trans will work? I’m trying to be careful as possible with costs as I know this isn’t going to be cheap. I don’t want wild. Just a good reliable driver that makes 450ish hp

      Have you tried Google? Just put site:foureyedpride.com and then your search terms. The built in search is awful.

      Federal 595 rs-rr 245/40r17 and 255/40r17 on OE cobra r wheels (race)
      AOD rebuilt with a 6 clutch direct drum, Koline steels stacked with 8 clutches, Kevlar band, superior shift kit, new torque converter. --Everything else stock and fully functional.

      Another site " Corral.net" seems to have alot of people doing these kind of swaps and hi performance adds.... I might suggest that site..

      MT 82 will not work in a fox mustang because of the shifter location.
