Default Getting rid of external inline fuel pump. Options?

Hey guys, looking at dumping my Holley black fuel pump on my 84 as it’s too damn loud. Can’t even enjoy the sound of the car as that’s all you hear. Would like to look into a in tank option or any other option that would be more quiet. Car is just a mostly stock 302 with a 600cfm carb. Running a Holley black into a areomotive regulator plumbed with 6an braided fuel hose. What would a guy need to do to switch to a in tank pump? Also would look at going back to a mechanical pump if that’s a good option.

    Thanks

Would something like this work with my stock 84 tank?

edit: looks like I’d need to switch to a efi tank to use that.

You would need an EFI tank for in tank pump. I'd just go back to a manual pump if it's still stock to keep it simple.

EFI in tank pumps are designed to run at much higher pressure than a carburetor needs. I personally would just install a good quality mechanical pump and call it good. There are in tank options for a carburetor, but again more expensive, more involved, and honestly not sure they provide any improvement in performance or reliability when its all said and done. Good luck!

Thanks guys. Also forgot to mention that the motor is a 91 302 that was converted to carb so I would need to install an early year timing cover and add eccentric?

I’m also highly considering just going with a Holley sniper kit and being done with carbs.
