    Default 3g alternator conversion question

Need some help on install with 3g conversion. I understand most of install but the part where you cut wires and splice wires into pig tail plug. Lmr has a video but it's not to intuative.

When I did it on my 86 SVO I know I had to put a jumper in the voltage regulator plug (the old alternator is externally regulated) and then it was relatively easy...

What do you got, what year and maybe some pics

According to many videos I have to cut a work from a pigtail plug and heat shrink it up in essence selling it from weather than I have to splice into the electric choke wire. I can get some pics up as soon as I can..oh its an 85 gt
