    Default Crimson cat, t-tops conversion

    Looking at a crimson cat locally, its in excellent shape. My question is it has t tops that were added later what does this do to value? They dont leak and are reportedly from a 83-84 mustang so period correct. Prefer cars lime this to be all original. Trying tondecide if its wortg it or if i should put the money into my 82 rs restoration instead.

    Not sure. Looks factory though. Just not on the build sheet. Guy says the previous / original owner had the dealership do it, who they had do it i have no idea

    For 83, yes. That code would be about in the middle of the second line. In earlier model years (1979-81), Fox Capris and Mustangs were produced at two assembly plants, and their buck tags were completely different. The San Jose plant spelled "TROOF" on their buck tags, and put that code on the last line.

    Before you mentioned the build sheet (assembly line broadcast sheet) though?
