    Default Dakota digital install

Ok guys getting ready to install my Dakota dash but all the vids on YouTube are for the later clusters. Has anyone installed ? Does anyone have a cluster wire diagram? I have to splice into both cluster harnesses. Thanks in advance.

I did it on my '85. I relied on diagrams from the EVTM and the factory one posted at the top of the electrical forum. I'll try and find the notes I made when I did the install. It was pretty straight forward.

I think the only inputs I had to deal with outside of the 2 connectors behind the stocker were for 12v constant (grabbed off the column) and the two harnesses for the oil press and water temp senders. (FYI, I know for a fact that the DD cluster draws almost no current as I have it fused with a 2 amp blade.)

Please verify everything with a test light or multimeter. These notes may not be 100% but I'm confident a good majority of it is.

I think the brake wire is Purple/White. All the other wire color abbreviations should be accurate. If you have any q's I'll try to assist.

Awesome. Thanks you. Yeah for sure . My buddy is helping me and already said he’s gonna probe the wires . The sensors seem pretty straight forward.

Good deal! Again, this was on an '85. Not sure what year you're working on so yeah, double check everything. Post up some pix when you get it completed!

Which gauge face type did you get?
