HOW TO: Post photos on FEP in 2023

Hey everyone!

Thought this may help. If this has been covered already, I apologize....but....I see a lot of instances where folks have trouble figuring out how to post photos in threads here. This forum runs on code that's just about as ancient as some of the cars found on this site. The "Ride of the Month" on the homepage hasn't even been updated in almost 6 years!

I digress.

What you'll want to do is set up an account at imgur.com - It's easy.

Upload your photo(s), then navigate and click on the one you want to share. Pictured below is what you'll see:



If you want to link it, copy and paste the top option, if you want the image to appear in a thread use the bottom option (BBCode).

You obviously don't have to use imgur.com, if you have some other place you like to host your images - that works too. All you need is the direct URL. Copy the URL for the image and sandwich it between brackets like this [img]pictureURLgoeshere[/img]. Done.
