Rear hatch latch

I need to replace my rear hatch latch but I can’t find any for sale. What’s the deal?

Power or non-power?

I see a couple listed for sale on eBay. They are power and listed as '85-91. Not cheap at $235 each.

Keep in mind the latch did change over the years. 79/80 is one version. 81-86, 87-91, and 91-93. The latch itself will interchange without much issue for 81-93, just make sure that you match with the correct year striker bolt. The 79/80 latch uses the wire rather than the strike bolt. It can probably be swapped out too for the later model, but I do think there is a slight difference in the hatch sheet metal that may require some additional work. Doesn't really answer your question on where to get a latch, but just wanted to provide added details so you don't purchase the wrong one for your Fox. Good Luck!
