Stark Hickey West Ford now Royal Oak Ford. Same location, expansion, added off site buildings.
Known then and now as a modern and seasoned dealership on that side of town.

Very few DSO 48 (Detroit) Ford dealers go back to the 60's are still around with the old name or same owners.
RO Ford is right on M-1 Woodward Ave., the annual WDC August cruise route.
Many hot cars owned by owners with money surely were/are modded or sold from there for a long time.
A dealer for performance cars more than trucks. One time Ford Racing parts order outlet.
Birmingham is just north up the road (address for kits at the time).
One that still washes your car after service.

My car was delivered to Stark Hickey East, now a Pep Boys on Gratiot Ave, another main drag in Detroit.

Good old dealer photos from their past.
