    Default 1984/85 Overflow/Washer Fluid Reservoir w/ Sensor

I know they had started to reproduce the 84/85 radiator overflow/washer fluid reservoirs, but they didn't have the low fluid sensors. Well, I was checking out Ebay today and saw this on there...

It's the overflow/fluid washer reservoir WITH the low washer fluid sensor. I did some more checking, and it seems that Blue Oval Industries is the only Mustang parts vendor selling it at the moment. A bit more checking tells me that the seller on Ebay may also be Blue Oval Industries. I imagine it's just a matter of time before the other Mustang parts vendors get these.

This would be a nice AND welcome reproduction part if it is good quality.

They also are selling a version without the Motorcraft sticker for $10 less.

Who's going to be the first to get one?
If they take my stapler, then I'll set the building on fire...

I am going to assume that if Daniel Carpenter is making it, that the other suppliers have or will have it soon.

$93 for the one without the sensor. Still seems pricey for 2 pieces of plastic.

    Hello all,

I got a reproduction overflow tank for Christmas, however looking at these posts, I am not sure it will work in my 83 GT.

I have NOS E3ZZ Tank and compared it too the Daniel Carpenter Tank

It is different! I was hoping it was not

The Daniel Carpenter Reproduction tank is on the left, E3ZZ tank is on the right, it is shorter. Well darn

Member Bentley has/had the same opportunity as you. According to him, cutting an additional slot in the panel below the reservoir would enable it to fit. See the following thread, and in particular, posts # 12 & 14....

Thanks. I think I am going to use the NOS 83 Tank. I would feel better about that than cutting something.
