    Default I Did a bad-bad thing...

Last yr, I had a pine needle get sucked-thru the 4180C. Now I'm paranoid one of the cylinder walls has hot pine tar.
Is this a possibility? This car is all-stock with 106K miles; have a pint of Mystery Oil if needed.

What next? PM me if nec.

I have a tie-in that if you stick with me on it might remove your fears. In the army, we used old hardwood skis for winter ops and they would need to be refinished each season with fresh pine tar. To remove the old pine tar it was heated with a heat gun or hair dryer, then scraped. If we were inattentive with the heat gun, the pine tar would catch fire and burn off often damaging the ski. If you somehow got pine tar into the cylinder, it would have surely burned off by now.

It's a pine needle. Not a knitting needle. You're good. . One is soft and organic, the other not so much.
