1982 Mercury Capri ROLLER
Hey guys, I picked up an 82 Capri roller a while back and don't see myself building it anytime soon so I thought I'd offer it up here....
It's a factory black on black 82 Capri that was a - best I can tell by breaking down VIN- 5.0 auto car. I acquired it as a roller and haven't done anything to it other than clean it up a little and set most of the interior back inside it. Someone started smoothing out the engine bay and what they did looks pretty good. The overall body is pretty straight -few dents/dings here and there- and it has been repainted sometime in it's life. The uni-body structure is very solid: clean strut towers, frame rails, rockers etc......however.....it has an aftermarket sunroof that apparently leaked and rusted out the floor under the drivers seat. Luckily, thats been cut out and the inner rocker is still solid, easy patch. The doors and hatch are clean and solid, the hood has some dents (looks like it caught the cowl area and bent the back corners down a bit), one front fender in front of the tire was rolled under some and I pulled it back down into shape but it still needs some TLC, the other fender is fine.
At some point, the entire interior was pulled out of it and everything is laying loose inside it including the dash structure. Some interior pieces are usable, others will need replaced or repainted black (some red components were thrown in with purchase).
It's sitting on 4-mismatched roller tires that hold air and will easily load onto a trailer.

Car is located in Claremore, OK (near Tulsa) at my house.
Asking $750 as it sits due to I currently do not have the title to it, BUT, I have the necessary paperwork to get one through the state of Oklahoma, just haven't bothered with it yet (generally costs about $300 here)
