    Default Widen 10 holes

Going to have two of my 10 holes widened. Running a 275 DR and was thinking of either 8.5 or 9 wide.
Will probably need some kind of spacer, since all the widening happens on the "inside" of rim.

Any opinion on what width to go with and if there are longer studs to allow say a 1 inch spacer
(I don't not a big fan of the bolt on spacers)

You should have no problem in the rear with the quad shocks and at most you may have to flip them. (Swap the front to the back and vice versa).

I have LMR's Cobra R rims and they're very well made, I have 9" wheels all the way around and use a 5mm front spacer to clear strut.

Thanks. I guess I could even use a 5 or 8 mm spacer in back, if it still allows wheel to stay concentric on axle
and my studs are long enough. I do have Moser 31 spline axles, which I'm pretty sure have longer than stock studs.

Just be aware that if you use spacers on the rear and have meaty tires, they will scrub 110%. I used 5mm on the rear and they scrubbed all the time (fenders not rolled). I took the spacers off and had the quadshocks in the stock orientation and the scrubbing stopped completely. If you roll your fender lips and flip the quads you should have zero issue fitting a 9" wheel in the back, I even use the firehawk 500s or whatever they're called and the have a bit of bulge and only scrub when i have like 2 people in the back seat.

Spacer should only be needed on the front because of the strut, you won't even be able to see a difference in track width tbh.

OK, thanks again for the info. Only doing the rears, as I only have a 245 up front.
I definitely will not be rolling rear 1/4's, so I will ultimately do what I have to inboard,
if that is what it takes.

First thing I always do it balance the rim by itself.
A lot of weight for just a rim, most factory Ford wheels take zero or maybe 1/4 ounce on one side.

Decided to put much longer valve stems in. Was always a PIA
    to get air chuck on.

Tires have been on slim rims so long, they would not bead up.
Had to break out the ratchet strap to get em aired up

Definitely going to put 1/2 to 3/4" more tread on the ground with a rim at least close
    to correct for a 275.

Those should be a good all around tire, I run them on my GT500, decent traction, acceptable wear, and will get you home in the rain. Great choice on the wheel, I really enjoy the OE wheels from the 80's until about 2015.
