      Default 3G Upgrade

      I was wondering if I can do a 3g alternator on a 81 Zephyr 3.3l if I need to change it I might as well upgrade while I'm at it.

      In general a 3G is needed when using an electric fan and or some big amps. Normal cars should be good with a 65 amp 1G. They used to make 100 amp upgrade kits for the 1G.
