    Post holley sniper

Thinking of switching to a Holley sniper system on my 86 gt. I currently have an A9L MAF converted tuning with a Moates quarter horse, and having one hell of a time getting it to idle. Actually, it's Almost impossible to get to idle. It's a simple combo. 306 heads cam intake combo, been done probably a million in one time. Who has installed on and what "extras" are going to be needed aside from a carb intake? Also how do you like them for those of you that have installed them?

I was going to ask why go through that much trouble and cost when Holley makes the Terminator X kit for the 87-93 Foxbody. https://www.holley.com/products/disc...parts/550-937F but apparently they have discontinued that product now. They do offer the universal kit https://www.holley.com/products/fuel.../parts/550-937 that most likely you could make work and not have to swap out your intake and all the other related parts. That is unless you just want to swap the intake out and make all the other changes. Good Luck!

I have the moates qh on a A9L on my 85 gt. I got my car to idle and start up great. If you look up the forum on eec tuning or efi dyno tuning. Their is a guy on their that tells how to get the idle just right. The moates qh is great but it has a vey steep learning curve.

Ive installed a few Snipers on customers cars with good feedback results. I put one on my personal fox body Tbird with a 351w. Im very pleased. I even used a stock fox body fuel pump. Easy peasy install.

Stinger Performance PimpXS. Plug and play, great support and endless tuning options.

Megasquirt is easy to learn, tune, etc. I was going to do a MAF swap last year, decided to keep it SD and swap ECU's instead. Amazing setup, wish I would have swapped years ago.

Yessir. Swapped over late summer/early fall of 21'. Phenomenal setup. This is the ECU I'm running:

FWIW--I also run shadow dash through a 7" Android touch screen mounted in the factory single din hole. No cutting required and costs less than $100
