    Default Electric Mirror Switch

    Could somebody give me some info on where the switch is supposed to be for power mirrors on a 86? maybe some pics too. I keep finding things missin gor changed from original on my car and it's kinda pissing me off.

    Pre '87 models did not have power mirrors.

    Well, that would explain some of the other things you've posted. Those doors would have the speaker cut outs you mentioned and it is missing the interior mirror trim.

    In order to get the mirrors back and working, you'll either have to put a switch in somewhere for them or go get some mirrors from a junkyard. The correct mirrors will not be power but manual remote mirrors:

    They will need the interior trim pieces:

    I don't know of any issues with switching to the old mirrors and using 87-93 doors.
