    Default Ring Brothers Creation

Found this on Fox News this morning.
Not a modified car, but new from ground up.

Subtle. Killer car. I love that it looks familiar but something's just a little cooler about it.

I also dig the fact that a new 5.0 is in there but a cooler mix of new of and old, I think, would have been the same car but with a 427 side oiler or a Boss 429. Might as well swing for the fence when you get to the plate.

But if you look at the Coyote as the ultimate SOHC motor, does that trump the 427 and the Boss?

My comment above wasn't meant to throw shade on the "new" 5.0, it's just that a mod-motor swap into a beautiful re-imagination seems so "been there, done that".

(Maybe I missed what you were getting at, Coyote isn't SOHC.)

I mean... I'm all for subtle, that's certainly a main goal of my build, but that could maybe just pass for a '65 convertible with a really nice paint job and an engine swap. At least they didn't paint it flat black and put stupid trendy grommets everywhere like they usually do.

All is true, my take on the hole Mod line of engines is what I call SOOCII
If you look at the layout it is the same as the original with the plugs near the intake.
The Coyote is just taking the next step and adding twin cams.
I don't see the Mods ever running on fuel which was the ultimate version of the SOHC.
