    Default 1984 GT horn brush/contacts?

Son bought an 84 GT, we tried to install a 85 GT 3 spoke wheel and the horn won't get ground. It looks like maybe the ground horn brush is broke off, but all I can find are pics of 85-89 for ref. Pulled an 86 apart and it is a completely different brush set up. Any replacement brush assemblies? Can't seem to find one.

The 85 GT steering wheel is in essence a 2 spoke wheel, which is also the case for the couple of years after that...not sure where you're getting a 3 spoke style wheel. Many years ago I installed an 85 GT steering wheel in my then 82 GT...but I basically installed the steering column along with it...so no help here...

I have one of those as well, but I haven't tried, cruise is kind of nice. I autocross the car and I haven't really ever finished a race and said "that nice 3 spoke thicker wheel would have reduced my time". So I stick with cruise control. I know the 3 spoke is nice but the two is soooo 80s.
