Favorite thing I’ve said that’s been requoted: “"40 year old beercan on wheels with too much motor"
My four eyed foxes:
"Trigger" - 86 Mustang GT - Black with red interior. 5.0 T5 built as Z. Original motor ~1/2 million miles. 18 yr daily, 10 a toy
"Silver" - 85 Mustang Saleen 1985-006? (Lol) Rare 1E silver GT / charcoal interior. The car is a little bit of a mystery. Current project bought as a roller, tons of Saleen / Racecraft pedigree
Also in the stable - my son’s car. 1986 Mustang GT Convertible. Black/Black/Black conversion. 93 leather. VM1 ECU. T5Z
past foxes -
1989 Mustang LX Sport 5.0 AOD white/tan black top. Once I ran this one down I caught a wife.
Wife also had a 1987 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe in the 90's.

Doesn’t seem like much traffic on the forums anymore. *♂️

Seems its been an issue for awhile.
Could the Contribute button be edited to redirect to the link in Foxchassis post above if the original page is irreparable?

The low traffic these days is pretty strange. I mean, my car is running great so I haven't had many questions but I check in each day to see if anyone else is suffering...

I would be here more, but having worked for so many years on my car with disappointing results... it just got old. Add that to a couple of new life stressors this past year, and I really haven't felt much like talking cars. I used to like to help people when I could, but my confidence is shattered right now. Like "maybe I never actually knew anything," you know? And I'm not trying to decide what direction to go with anything either. Those decisions have mostly been made. The stuff still doesn't want to work well together, but I've got no patience for it.

Yeah, sometimes you gotta step back and take a break.

I have been there before, doubting my own abilities and it can be soul crushing. Sometimes focusing on a different project can really help.
Not even necessarily a different car project, i often take on welding side work when i get stuck on car stuff.
79 Zephyr, 4.6L 4v/4r70w swap, with team z front and rear suspension, 8.8 and upgraded brakes and coil overs. Running Holley Terminator X Max.
I can certainly relate. Many times more than once have I been tempted to burn whatever car I'm working on to the ground.

Oh, totally.
But yeah, I've been playing with smart home stuff in the meantime. Pretty fun, but it has its challenges too. It's really frustrating when your expensive new mesh wifi router keeps dropping your WIRED CONNECTIONS inexplicably. But yeah, I live in the future now. haha

I check in daily, I prefer this site to FB bs pages. I am weird though.
