    Default Factory style header question

Iím in the process of installing factory Mustang headers on my 85 Tbird. Low budget exhaust upgrade. The headers didnít have the studs( bolts?) that connects from headers to H-pipe collector ( I hope im describing it right) Anyone know what size/length, thread they should be? LMR sells a kit but states itís a little larger than factory so not sure about using them. Any ideas/input. Thank you in advance

Dorman sells studs. Just take it to a parts store.

I thought that they were just 5/16" bolts? I remember going to Fastenal and getting allen bolts for mine.

85 uses long studs on 1 side and short ones on the other. 7/16" nut fits the threads. 3.25" on drivers side and 2.5 " on passenger side. I have photos but I can't load to the site.

I recently picked up a set of studs & nuts for the F150 from Napa. Stocked items. I think the same studs were used across multiple years / models of Ford family vehicles so quite common.
