There were a few more fox mustangs scattered about the grounds. Cars came and went.
Several van clubs had their annual gathering where we were parked.
If more fox cars piled in, we agreed to move.
The SVO had low miles. Think owner said was 85.5.
There was another in Jalp Red.
The grassy area was smooth and cut, no worry of driving and parking on it.

That sounds nice. On an aside, I wonder what happened to XCTASY? Hasn't logged on since Dec. Hope he's ok.

Seen 2 ASC one hatch, one verti
Fox Mustangs 1979-2004, many older Mach 1s, Boss 302s.
    Merc Marauders 2000 versions
    Mustang Mach E

Did Ford miss-name this and the Maverick?
Drop 'Mustang', drop 'Maverick' nameplate make it the Ranger Sport or something.
    Like the Bronco line is.
Named a truck after a car and a car after a truck.

Loving that Gold Fairlane! I'll take one with a V8 and a wide-ratio Hurst. I had a '66, and I just love Fairlanes now. You'll be hooked once you drive one

Yes Fairlanes are a fave- Younger bro said digs the gold color too.

Been around the Fairlane name forever. Everyone in Detroit area has too one way or another.
My kindergarden (57) school name= Fairlane Elementary. Ford theme 'got' us kids early.
School still has shades of blue theme in gym, halls, bathroom tile.

Fair Lane. Home of Clara and Henry Ford. 1 Fair Lane Drive Dearborn MI. The autos were named after it.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Lane
Fair Lane Town Center 70's super mall is nearby.
Ford added new offices in the former Lord & Taylor colloquially nicknamed "Ford & Taylor" by employees.

Dad had a new 56 blue white Fairlane family car. Have pics but they are black and white.
Friends dad had a new 68 Wimbledon White/blk/blk vtop coupe 302/c4. Sharp looking dd car.
Neighborhood friend had a new 68 Torino GT SportsRoof 390/3sp Highland Green/blk int, gold C stripes, dual round Thrush mufflers.
Family member has a red/blk in 68 Fairlane 500 SportsRoof 390/4sp Hurst magnum 500's, his dads car from way back when new.
Carl said he made a mistake 'over' restoring it. Cant take it to a show because too many people and kids lean on it.
Now also has a unrestored 66 Mustang Sauterne Gold 289 2v/c4 blk/blk v top. Wears Magnum 500's off his brothers WIP 71 Boss 351.

Hurst shifter units for sure. Had em in both VWs of the past and current Mustang and Ranger.
Easy to tailor the exact throw and height to suit.
Bro retrofitted a sweet Hurst dual gate auto shifter to his almost new 81 Z-28 after the factory one broke.
Seen too many cars with shifters that would suck to drive.

Holley carbs are another fav here. Have had great results using them.
