    Default Spreading The Word

Met a couple at a local market with a nice 86 GT.
We got talking about our Foxes, and told him this would be a great place to locate needed parts.
Not "new blood", an original owner like me.
Hope every one's long weekend was fun and thoughtful.
Thank for all who have and are serving, and those who gave all.

Nice, Ray. We should do something to commemorate FEP's 20th Anniversary.
I know the earliest join date on this site is May 2002, so that would be precisely 20 years! What a riot. I joined this site only in 2010, but can't imagine another site for the Third Generation. It would be cool if we could do a Cease & Desist on Facebook's Four Eyed Pride since it seemed to negatively impact this site. Example; of the 20 or so persons who conversed with me on Day One, only about 4 are still active. ok, some (hopefully very few) passed away, or sold their car, or something else, but we all know MOST of the users from this site went to Facebook.

Facebook is ok when you want to reconnect with friends, schoolmates, or maybe even family, but when it comes to car talk, its not really the place to be. User-Driven Content? Is that what they call it?? I really enjoy this site.

Happy 20th Birthday Four Eyed Pride. Here's to you

I never knew that FEP is 20 years old. I bought my first four eye in 2002 but didn't join until 2012.

    2005, you're practically a Charter Member
Somebody should ask founders Mike Croke and EvlGT to say a few words. I heard only one of them logs-in nowadays (I forget which one) but lets face it, it was excellent of them to create this site

Interestingly, Mark Zuckerberg was a Harvard student then, and "The" Facebook was born. What timing!

I thought this site was a bit older, but I probably have it confused with another.

I know the "Others" content was quite a bit less when I joined.

I tell any and all 4-eyes I meet about this site.
I learned about this site from a friend at the 45th Mustang Annv show April 2009, joined May 2009 and then in June 2009 bought my 85 notch.
I tried FB for about a week and left. I prefer forums.

I joined the site in 2012. I had owned a 1986 Capri 5.0L in the late 80's and early 90's. Foolishly sold it. I would visit the site and when it was time to look for another Capri, I joined 06/10/2012. I posted a wanted ad and 12 days later I had found the Capri I wanted. I owe it to this site that I own my Capri.

Same. I found my ultra-rare '83 1 owner T-top notch in a classified ad here, posted in the middle of the night. I visited the seller later that morning. Long story shorter, I purchased the car only a few days later, and have enjoyed it ever since! I still marvel over the car--garaged only six miles from me since new, yet never knew about it.

Here's to Matt (Colo.) and here's to FEP

Late 02 join date, so I must have signed up after I bought my current 4-eye.

Thinking back I have owned a 4-eye in one form or another since I was 15.

Joined in Dec 2013, after I found the site to get tips on changing the heater core on the 86 Vert without disturbing the AC.
It was in vain, the car had sat for 15 years, so the system had leaked out.
I've met a lot of fine people on this site. I describe some as E-mail pals.
Given my 2 cents at times on subjects, and got more than a buck fifty back on question I have raised.
How can you beat that return on your investment?
I follow other sites to get info on other cars we own, and have found FEP the easiest and most friendly of the lot.
